Working as a brand planner and a brand strategist for various international agencies, I have experience on large global accounts in the US (Nike) and Italy (Jeep, Fiat) and, with medium sized social ventures in the UK (Cafedirect, MSC). Some of the agencies I’ve worked with as a consultant or an employee are Wieden+Kennedy, Leo Burnett and Nice & Serious.
I work with lots of interesting smaller startups and charities and run a British men’s lifestyle brand called Thomas Clipper.
I’ve been quoted in The Guardian regarding luxury branding, and recommended in the Wall Street Journal for my work on startup branding.

Who am I?
I grew up in England but have lived and studied in the US for four years. I speak reasonable Italian and am currently consulting in Bologna.
When I'm not doing marketing things, I enjoy good coffee, good food and good skiing (a perfect day involves all three).
I am interested in almost everything.
What do I do?
I work with clients and creative teams to create inspiring, consumer focussed briefs that lead (with a bit of help along the way) to brilliant creative work.
I founded Thomas Clipper, a male grooming startup funded on Kickstarter in London. Since beginning the business in 2014 we’ve launched a dozen products, raised two rounds of VC funding and have been featured everywhere from GQ to The Telegraph, Esquire, Monocle and beyond.

Founded and ran a branding agency called ‘Dover Ellis’ for 5 years, built world class teams to deliver brilliant design, copy, video, photography, web, app and product development (phew...). I've worked with UK clients including Cafédirect, Newton Court Cider, Lavanda.
